a new kind of home health

  • At Haven Pediatric Therapy, we focus on more than just your child. We make a safe-haven for the parents, siblings and other caregivers too. A place for the whole family unit to learn, thrive and plant seeds for growth.

  • Lindsey has been described by her fellow therapists as a unicorn in the field. Therapy via Haven Pediatric Therapy is first-rate care emphasized by: bilingualism, orofacial myology, gestalt language development (GLP), tethered oral tissues, IMH family support, and more.

  • Haven Pediatric Therapy prides itself in its ability to flex its haven per family needs. Home Health not only allows a window into the home, but into your child’s daycare / IEP meetings / summer groups / ABA therapy/ and more. Therapy is not limited to the four walls of the clinic, but limitless per family need.

  • Every step of development can feel like a whirlwind for parents. When you add insurance, state services, school/IEP meetings, diagnoses, outside therapy and more - raising a child definitely feels like it should come with its own guidebook. That’s where Haven Pediatric Therapy comes in. We are that guidebook. We have the resources, connections and experiences to guide parents in those early days and prepare them for what comes after the first 3 years.

Our mission

We listen, act, and transform

At Haven Pediatric Therapy, our mission is to create a safe haven for all children and parents in their unique developmental process. Our team of passionate speech therapists uses evidence-based treatment approaches combined with holistic, family-led outlooks to help our clients and their parents achieve meaningful and successful progress.

Our Symbol

As a mother provides a space of nourishment, safety and warmth for her child to develop and grow - so does Haven Pediatric Therapy hope to do so for its clients and their families. A “haven” can be defined as a refuge, a place of safety. That is what we hope to bring our patients at each developmental milestone. A place to take refuge as well as grow and prepare for the next step life brings.

Our Therapists

Hi, I’m Lindsey Cross, MA, CCC-SLP

I am a certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in speech and feeding therapy. I speak English and Spanish. I prioritize learning and research-based practices. Therefore, I hold treatment certifications in the following areas: Gestalt Language Development, Pediatric Feeding, and Promoting First Relationships. Over the years, I have practiced in a variety of settings and learned that the journey for my clients was not specific to speech sounds and oral motor movements. It also was rooted in connection and relationship between the caregivers and child.

As a result, I devoted myself to learning how to not only help the child, but the family as well. I became a certified Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, a program rooted in the education of parents in attachment, self-awareness, and family systems to connect them deeper with their child’s developmental journey. I led parent support groups and advocated for infant and family mental health. In my practice, I learned how to create a "safe haven" for families at every milestone.

That is why I founded Haven Pediatric Therapy. A private pediatric therapy practice centered in community, connection and building something that can continue blossoming outside the therapy appointment and into my patient's lives as well.
